We’re under lockdown, but that won’t stop us from drinking….. discussing science online.

Looking forward to present our work on Mettl4 as a novel m6Am Writer.
Check out our first bioRxiv submission where we discovered a novel RNA-internal m6Am writer, Mettl4.
Double celebration! First of our recent publication of how we developed a new technique to sequence RNA methylation at quantitative single-base-resolution. Second is to celebrate an internship well done by our visiting student Phoebe. We wish her all the best for the rest of her undergraduate degree at UBC! With honourary lab members Sarah and … More Paper celebration / Phoebe’s farewell lunch
Here we are drinking…. discussing science at the 84th Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Symposium on Quantitative Biology: RNA Control & Regulation.
Our first paper: “Single-nucleotide-resolution sequencing of human N6-methyldeoxyadenosine reveals strand-asymmetric clusters associated with SSBP1 on the mitochondrial genome” and we even got highlighted as a NAR Breakthrough Article!
